Episode 1 - An Introduction

Full show notes are always available at www.stitchedtogether.co.uk, under the Podcast Button.

This is my first podcast.  In it I introduce myself and talk a little bit about why I wanted to start podcasting. I also outline how I expect my future podcasts to be structured.

  3. I'm listening to your podcast as I work on sewing a dress. I knit, crochet, sew, and quilt, so your future topics interest me very much. I haven't read a lot of crafting books in the last few years. Maybe you'll review some that my local library will have or can get.

  4. Great job Chrissy, and not only interesting in and of itself, but fascinating to me as I'm working on a podcast myself. I listened while casting on some of the yarn I bought at Wonderwool :D

    1. I don't think I want to know what you thought I sounded like! I have to say that I don't think I sound the same as recordings despit evidence to the contrary :-)

  6. Hi, I found it quite hard to listen to your podcast because I suffer the same symptoms as you (although nowhere near as bad) and it was difficult hearing you be so brave in describing it all. I tend to shun any sharing of my problems and am impressed with your courage at doing so. Knitting saved my life very definitely and I love hearing about it as well as doing it so I shall tune in again, good luck with it and I look forward to catching up with your news soon.

    1. I'm so sorry you have similar problems. It is not easy living with them. I'm very fortunate to have received counselling when I started to get ill, for something unrelated. The counselling taught me a lot about dealing with difficult emotions and communicating with my loved ones. It has been invaluable in coping with a long term chronic condition. I was also able to attend a pain support group for a while which helped with some pain management techniques.

I'm so glad you found the same comfort in knitting that I did and I hope you get many more years of joy out of it.
